On Cover2, how do you make those passes to the sideline with your slot WR? The guy who plays the flats normally picks me off perfectly like that, nice video tho.

The cover 2 and cover 3 are totally different scenarios when you try these plays because you're dropping 8 guys instead of 7. Also, if you're smart like some people, you put your better receivers in the safety slots and just switch packages on your run stop formations to get the stronger guys back in the game.

Those plays wouldn't work against me with lito sheppard and asante samuel covering the deep threats...brian dawkins can but he's a little slow but usually makes them drop the ball with a big hit.

My favorite coverage by far is the cover 3 press with a bump and run.

another good way to pick apart a cover 3 is with a two receiver set on one side...send the inside slot guy on a quick up and out and the other on a hook route. if you time it right, the hook guy is almost always open for at least 8-10 yards.

9 Velcro is a very hard play to disect, as 9 people drop back in coverage. I know you run on it, but in passing situations, it's almost impossible to beat.

Question how would you guys attack a cover 4 from a 4-3 over set? I realized too late that out routes would have been best. I tried a few slants but either he got the deflection or hit my WR.

I love people who blitz heavy! They are the easiest to smoke, in any football game. Ok figure this when they blitz the inside backers they are loosing on out on some good defenders in coverage! How do we exploit this, without taking too much time? easy DRAG!!! DRAG!! DRAG!Routes from the speedy slot receiver. Realize that stepping up into the pocket is an important tool needed for making the big smart reads that will help you destroy people in Madden 09

What about when facing a 46 zones and player is reblitzing different players. It seems that the outside is very dangerous to pass, and the middle looks a little suspect but due to the reblitzing their seems to be no time to let a play develop..One more if u guys dont mind the outside runs and screen passes are also a killer. I seem to be I guess in wrong coverages please giv me some insight. THANKS..
