You are right. One team could get two turnovers and the other wins because of time of posession or some other freak of playoff nature. This game in truth is very close to a toss-up, so who knows who will win. That’s why it’s the playoffs right? Anyways Big Tony, I appreciate you reading and commenting. Enjoy the games.

I cannot say that, which is why I didn’t. I think you’re correct about three-and-outs but in the end I’m still leaning on the turnover battle as the key, magic number still 2. Should be an interesting game, who knows we could both end up being right.

That is a good point. And everyone has their own opinion. However, I feel that the Ravens will get quickers stops than the Dolphins, which will give the time of posession over to the Ravens. In essence, if they can’t force a turnover by the Dolphins, they can still force some three-and-outs. And in all honesty, can you say the Dolphins will force more three-and-outs than the Ravens?

If the Ravens with the turnover battle by 2 or more they win but if they are only plus 1 or worse the Ravens cannot win. So in short that’s my watered down version of analysis. The magic number is 2.
