I love the fact that everyone has cried about Baseball players doing steroids, but no one cares when Shawn Merriman gets caught by testing positive during the NFL season. I mean really this guy just got a slap on the wrist, from the media. It seems as if people care about the baseball records more. This is true maybe because so many people can benchmark their lives using great baseball events or something. Also, historically baseball has help this nation grow. Everyone realizes the impact of Baseball Legends, on our youth as well as our culture. Jackie Robinson, sparked a movement for all sports and people to follow just to cite one examplee. Just think about it! If you ask a kid to tell you about Mickey Mantle or Babe Ruth, they will have stories saved up from other people accounts because they are American Legends! Then ask them about Sam Huff, and they won't know a thing. Baseball has sacred records that even congress morn over. Football lives in the Now and I find that funny. Personally I am happy that baseball players take steroids because it was what saved the game, and that's why they covered it up. The Owners and Commissioner Knew the whole time. The Only way to have a fair system is simple legalize the drugs and asterisk all the old records previous to the new drug policy. And remember "Don't Hate the Player, Hate the Game"!
