I generally agree with allowing the NHL players to participate, however, the tournament has an effect on every player in the league, including those who do not even participate in the games through the compressed season, thus also making all players more vulnerable to injuries and fatigue.

Also, yes, PLEASE end touch icing. And also regulate blind side hits to the head. That is all.

I said he doesn't have star power in front of him one might like. That doesn't mean they don't play defense. The Sabres are going to be just fine as long as health doesn't become a major factor (i.e. if Miller stays healthy).

Hmm interesting article..but allow me to pose this question Mr. "Big Tony"... if Ryan Miller does not have the defensive tools in front of him how can he be expected to last possibly 25+ hockey games?

I think the mother should be put in jail. Unless a child has a disease that makes them unable to help being large, it should be considered child abuse. Parents are responsible for teaching their children healthy eating habits and telling them when enough is enough. A child doesn't know that they aren't supposed to be eating 4 cheeseburgers from Mcdonalds on a daily basis. This is practically the same as starving your child, I believe anyways becuase it will result in the early death of your kid.

[...] 9. BlackBerry 9630 Niagara. What if you’re not so much an athlete as a couch-surfing fan? Then there are mobile phones that are specifically designed to keep you in touch with the latest sports news. Of course, you can get sports news updates on most smartphones using various applications but the BlackBerry 9630 Niagara is specifically marketed to Fantasy Players who want instant access to sports scores, stats and game highlights. This one made a lot of headlines when it was first announced back in March but news about it has been quiet since its summer release date was pushed back to later this year. [...]

I have said this all year about Peyton Manning. He is tall enough at 6' 6" to look over the offensive line unlike Drew Bree who is 6'0" at best. If you make a QB comparison I don't think anyone who know football can pick against Peyton Manning. The Saints can be leading by 3 touchdowns in the 4th Qtr with 3:00 minutes to go in the game and Peyton Manning will win it. The only other QB I have seen do this in my life-time is Joe Montana. What you have with Peyton Manning is a player/coach very similar to MJ at the Chicago Bulls. Drew doesn't have this kind of power with the Saints, not with Payton as coach. There is no other QB that can read defenses as good a Manning. If a team blitzs or disguise their defenses the first half, trust me it will not work on Manning in the 2nd half, why you ask? Manning is better at making 2nd half adjustments than in other QB in league's history.

The key to the Superbowl matchup has already been publicized by the Saints and that is to throw Manning off rhythm like they did with Farve and Kurk Warner. The one advantage that Manning has over Brees (6'.0"), Kurt Warner (6'2"), and Farve (6.'2") is his height (6.'6"). Another difference in these QBs is Manning quick release of the ball especially throwing short screen passes. You blitz him he qoing to get rid of the ball. You sack him, he is going to read your defense the next time and you will pay. The only way to take Manning out of the game is to make sure his receivers are covered. However, this will open their running game and short passes to running backs.

The Saints defense gave up something like 300 plus yards during the regular seasons. If this game becomes very close in scoring then look for the Colts to have the edge in the 4th Qtr. Like I said earlier if you give Manning 2:00 minutes he will win the game. Can you say the same thing about Brees. If the Saints get behind by 2 or 3 touchdowns in the 3rd of 4 Qtr it will be lights out because they won't have the composure to come back in this game. Besides, Manning will then milk the clock. The only way New Orleans is going to win game if Manning get hurt or the receivers drop the ball. That's it.
