The announcers worst enemy would have to be having everyone on every team wearing the same number wouldn’t it? To me it’s pretty stupid, so I just wanna say “nice job MLB”. It’s not like all the players could wear a patch with his number on it, no of course not, we need to make things just that more confusing. I love that fact that the idiots at the league office thought this was a good idea. I can just see it now, “Now batting, I think it’s maybe Robinson Cano!” My heart goes out to all those PA announcers and play by play callers who will screw up today, sorry I guess Bud doesn’t like you! I am pretty sure Jackie would have rather just been remembered some other way, without ruining the flow of the commentary and broadcasts of the game that he loved!
