Crabtree, the next Jerry Rice?

Two Time NCAA All-American Michael Crabtree

Well we can’t tell yet if he is going to be like Jerry Rice, but Michael Crabtree has definitly got some huge potential. This 6′3 215 pound WR is very explosive and his stats from his two years in College for Texas Tech will prove it. He has in his two years scored 41 TD’s for Texas Tech, which is flat out amazing. Michael recently has been preparing for the 1st round of the Draft, where he expects he will find a Home in the NFL.

The NFL has been a tough place for a Rookie WR to excel in historically. Many people have even invoked the three year rule, saying that a WR won’t show nearly what he has until his 3rd season as a pro, which works in the case of Roddy White, Michael Irvin, Terrell Owens and so on.  I don’t know about Crabtree, I think he will be a impact player immediately in the League just like DeSean Jackson and Eddie Royal were last year, if not more so. Just look at how great Crabtree’s leaping ability is coupled with his top notch explosiveness. Personally I think of him as a bigger Larry Fitzgerald! Either way this guy is “kind of a big deal” so expect to see him be a top 15 pick this year. Crabtree should amaze at the combine, posting around a 4.49-4.56 40 yard dash time. Regardless, don’t be surprised if some team SHOULD TRADE UP FOR THIS KID!

Crabtree is going to be incredible without a doubt. Just watch that boy run. He is freakishly fast for his size!!

Crabtree is so fast, I agree with you that whichever team gets him will get a huge boost this season from an immediate impact rookie!
