I am going to be honest right now. Brock needs to realize that MMA is not the WWE. If you didn’t get a chance to see his latest victory in UFC 100, you really should do whatever it takes to get a chance to see it. This guy beat Mir and then just went nuts. He tried to keep fighting Mir after the fight had been stopped then, he proceeded to talk trash about Mir and made himself look like just a huge jerk. It was somewhat funny considering this could have been the first time that the UFC champion was boo’d by the fans of his own country just after winning the fight. As I stated before, “Brock you really need to realize that you are not is not in the WWE anymore. What you do inside the octagon should be all the entertainment we need, Jackass!”

Brock spoke out in his post fight interview with Joe Rogan responding to the boo’ing crowd by saying, “Yeah, keep going, keep going…I’m going to go home, and I’m going to drink a Coors light. Yep, That’s a Coors light,” he stated while pointing to the Bud Light logo in the middle of the Octagon, “because Bud Light won’t pay me nothing.” He also stated that “he might even get on top his wife tonight”. It does not take a genius to realize that this is not how a champion in any sport should be acting. It was a sad day for MMA to say the least, and I am sure that Danna white knew it. I wish I knew what Dana said to Brock before the post fight conference because Brock performs a complete 180, like a man on a string. It really seems like in the post fight interviews Brock decided to dance like Dana White’s puppet, apologizing to the fans and Frank, but most importantly bud light. What a Jackoff!

If you don’t already know who Thiago Alves is, you need to brush up on your UFC knowledge. Thiago Alves will be on the top of his game tonight after winning 7 straight contests in a row. Everyone has been looking at Thiago as a brawler type strikers, but I feel that Thiago has more to his game great striking. Regardless I like Thiago’s chances considering, I don’t expect him to want to take this fight to the ground. He without a doubt has the power to embarrass the current Champion George St. Pierre and everyone is harping on that. He also has a great fighting resume, beating tough competition like Josh Koshcheck, Matt Hughes, Karo Parysian and more. Thiago is the Stronger fighter in this match. Thiago is also the younger fighter at 25 year old. Alves is currently a very dangerous fighter who is in top physical shape. He has posted an MMA record of 22-4. GSP has defended his title successfully five times in a row, so he may be due for a letdown. Regardless betting on Thiago makes more than sense considering the current money line on the fight:

-280 GSP
+220 Alves.

That means if you put $100 on Alves and he wins the bet will pay out more than double at $220. On the other hand to just make a payout of $100 on GSP you would need to put up $280 dollars and of course he would have to win. I am sorry but at those odds i am going for Thiago Alves all the way people! It’s still up to you who you bet or root for, that just my take on this fight.

Also is anyone else sick of watching Brock Lesnar fake it like he is mad about the past Mir fight on the new UFC 100 preview? I mean really can you act more like this is WWE? I love how they are making this about Lesnars retribution and not Frank Mir’s title shot. I feel as if Mir could get destroyed in this contest, yet if I was gambling man I would put my money on Mir, the payoff is just so high. Lesnar is a monster but he really isn’t that smart! Frank isn’t small at 255 so I am still going to side with Frank, the more proven and experienced fighter.

It’s really upsetting me that a guy who struggled to stay healthy playing basketball over his long career thinks he has the ability to fight MMA. Yes Shaq is big, but come on people just look at how out of shape he has become over the last 10 years. He has dogged it in the NBA over the last 10 years and he was still competitive, but if he tries that in MMA he is going to end up hurt. I wish this guy the best of luck, I just don’t see the point of him trying to get Chuck Liddell to fight him? Chuck is a light Heavyweight and wouldn’t even be in his weight class if he wasn’t already retired! Hey Shaq make a portfolio and just retire and play golf already!

On June 6th Brett “The Grim” Rogers entered his 10th professional fight undefeated. 22 seconds later he left the same way. Roger is starting to make a stir things up beating up once great superstar Andrei Arlovski in such a dominating fashion. Brett Stands at 6′5 and weighs around 265 pounds. Brett used to work at Sam’s club and he is a real blue collar champion in my eyes. I will admit this guy is not the next Mr. T because Brett is way to chubby (and he is a real fighter), but I just want to say I love this guys style and the Mohawk.This guy has it. But lets see if he can keep this streak going. Rogers is 10-0 and “The Grim” is my undefeated prospect to keep an eye on. Rogers may have a big future ahead of him! So just keep watching him! The UFC could be Mr. Roger’s neighborhood, soon enough!

I was recently told by one of my best friends that Jose Canseco has decided to try his luck in MMA. I didn’t believe my friend until he showed me the video. Sure enough the video showed the attention crazed, desperate ex-Baseballer getting pummeled by Hong Man Choi. I loved the humor in this and would like to shake the man’s hand who made it happen. Jose seems to have no strategy or training. He just attempts to throw hard looping punches in quick bursts. Sit back everyone and enjoy the death of a baseball legend.

I have always loved this video. Considering I have great respect Bas, I am not going to post the entire thing. I have searched for some of the best scenes for all of you to see, in hopes that this may spark some interest and make you buy the best defense video on the market. Bas Rutten is funny, and keeps your attention, throughout this whole video. It’s pretty amazing, considering how many of these videos just flat out suck. It’s a real relief when you get to learn from someone with a sense of humor, like Bas. MMA would be half of what it is today, without the star power of the Infamous “El Guapo”. It was a contest that in my mind should have never happened. GSP must have no real competition in the light heavyweight class to even have Dana White have this fight. Honestly I am surprised it went as long as it did considering the strength advantage that St. Pierre had. After watching this fight it is understandable that BJ Penn is revered for his mastery of the guard. He survived 4 rounds only to quit in the 5th. Dana White needs to work harder on bringing better fighters because if GSP has no real challenges things like this will not keep me interested…I don’t pay to watch an American get slaughtered…Please Dana get GSP a real fight considering how much better he has become…

Fedor remains the Champion

Fedor is without doubt the best fighter in the world. He has demolished all opponents we have thrown at him for over a decade. He does not duck any worthy fighter. Of course he doesn’t fight for cheap either but who would if you were truly the best undefeated professional MMA fighter out there. He is without a doubt a true master of his craft and We would like to salute him. He dropped Andrei Arlovski flat on his face!
