Blackberry 9630 “Niagara” a true Fantasy Player’s one stop playground!

Verizon Wireless will be unvieling it’s new “HOT” blackberry model coming up possibly as soon as May 2009. This phone has so many features it makes me wanna cream myself when i think of all it’s sports applications. This is a must for any real fan. Stay up to date on scores, highlights and check stats on it’s browser at the drop of a dime.

The phone features 1 gigabyte of on board memory with the ability to have a 16 gig card added for 17 gigs of memory. Quad band gsm is a technology that allows the phone to operate on four different frequency spectrums known as CDMA, GSM, GPRS and UMTS. CDMA is the network that most carriers in the united states use. The other three are networks used in different countries across the world. This allows the the phone to be used anywhere in the world, even in japan where most global phones will not work.  The BlackBerry Niagara’s keyboard has been called the best keyboard blackberry has ever made, with its fretted design, meaning the letters are very easy to hit without accidentally hitting more than one. The release of blackberry Appworld will allow you to download apps that will give you up to date news, stats, highlights and video from all your favorite sports. This is a must for any real Fantasy player, who may need to make a move on the go.  The phone offers a 3.2 megapixel camera built in with zoom and a video camera, so where ever you are you can get that great shot if you leave your camera at home.  The phone itself is very solid, the screen has a glassy feel as opposed the the 8330 curve which quite obviously plastic. The phone has all the features of the storm without the annoyingly slow speed and more frequent than not, unexplained resets.  The phone itself is black with red buttons and black trackball which in my opinion looks great. The phone is a little bigger than the Curve and a little smaller than the bold, which in my opinion is the prefect size. I have used the curve and the bold and they either felt to big or to small, well now they have the perfect in between.  Needless to say, the editor of sportsroids asked if he could take our model to the bedroom for a few minutes.
